Model of cell stack for experimental zinc-air battery for vehicle propulsion. This cell stack is sized for a battery having an energy storage capacity of seven kilowatt hours of electricity.

Development of the zinc-air battery system for vehicle motive power is being carried out under a jointly sponsored program of the Edison Electric Institute and General Atomic Division of General Dynamics.
