Tiny power unit for toys, shown in the picture, is operated by two standard flashlight batteries which are inserted at will in the plastic base-box of the engine, and delivers power by moving belt hooked over the hub cap of one of its flywheels.

When not in use, the engine can be placed inverted within the box.
