Electric Generators

Last of five 75,000 kilowatt generators for Shasta Dam in the Sacramento River Valley, is under construction at the Schenectady (N.Y.) Works of the General Electric Company.
The five generators will furnish enough electricity to light more than 10,000,000 household lamps.
Shasta Dam, a Bureau of Reclamation project, ranks in terms of mass as the second largest structure ever built by man.
