AUG 5 1945

One of the most versatile of Sylvania's experimental lighting units is this fluorescent desk lamp which can be mounted at either side of the desk and adjusted to either right or left hand use.

Each arm swivels in a 90 degree turn, allowing the light to be placed wherever it is needed, in any working position. When not in use the arms may be pushed flat against the wall to conserve space and serve as a wall decoration.

Fitted to a desk in one of the Sylvania Lighting Center rooms, the flexible unit illustrates an important trend in postwar fixture designs.
