STOPPER LAMP COMPARISONSCD 1964039 E&MP26.027 Electric Light April 25, 1933 Dr. A.M. Hageman and Samuel G. Hibben of the Westinghouse Lamp Company, Bloomfield, New Jersey, comparing one of the original stopper lamps with an original sketch which George Westinghouse used in the manufacture of incandescent lamps that produced electric lighting for the World’s Fair of 1893. Mr. Hibben, who is a member of the Lighting Committee of the Century of Progress, is arranging to have replicas of the stopper lamp made for the Westinghouse exhibit at Chicago.
