1937

Here a young lady at the Westinghouse Lamp Division, Bloomfield, N.J., is inserting the inner tube into a glass jacket.

The assembled lamp is then sealed, evacuated, and a base is added.

This is the type of lamp used to light working areas in the Douglas Aircraft Company plant in Long Beach, California.
