View of the Michigan highway between Detroit and Lansing lighted at night through the use of reflectors made of Lucite methyl methacrylate, a plastic developed by E.I. duPont de Nemours & Company.
The illumination is obtained through the use of the headlights of the car playing on the reflectors, which are set 100 feet apart on each side of the road and which are about ten times as powerful as ordinary reflectors in general use.
