Giant frequency changer set built for the Bureau of Power and Light, City of Los Angeles, in order that power received at 60 cycles from the Boulder Dam transmission line may be changed to 50 cycles for paralleling with an existing 50 cycle system. Photo made in the East Pittsburgh Works of the Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Company.
