PRECISION OF A FINE WATCH
CD 1966049 E&MP30.005
Electric Meters
May 18, 1938
Built with the precision that goes into a fine watch, yet so rugged it lasts a lifetime; each meter contains 275 parts, requires thousands of manufacturing operations.
To cut 8000 miles of thread screws yearly, some of them only seventeen-thousandths of an inch in diameter, requires fine tools such as the one being ground above.
It will be used in a delicate watch-lathe set-up.
