Electric Power Plants

1942

These huge forgings will become part of a great power plant producing current for the winning and holding of victory.

Transporting four power plant parts from Eddystone, Pa., to Boulder Dam, Nev., via the Pennsylvania, Elgin, Joliet & Eastern, C&NW, and the Union Pacific railroads.

The loading and the top heavy nature of the parts were outstanding problems to be considered.
