This circuit, designated the A2734 by Bell Laboratories, consists of 10 AND gates, 2 OR gates, one internal flip-flop, and two 100-milliampere output stages (which form a bipolar output).

The circuit is comprised of twenty-four pieces of silicon with minimum junction-to-junction spacings on separate components of 1.1 mils and a nominal slot width of 0.2 mils.

The letters written on the back of the largest island are 4 mils high, 2 mils wide, and 2 mils apart. The nominal size of the smallest island is 3.7 mils by 4.2 mils. This integrated circuit has six transistors, 48 diodes, and 18 resistors.
