Workman lowers a copper radiator assembly into a tank of decorative enamel at the plant of Amperex Electronic Corporation in Brooklyn.

These radiators are used to dissipate the heat given off by large electronic tubes when in operation.
In a subsequent operation, the wooden plug at the center of each radiator is replaced with an electronic tube. The entire unit is then ready for use.
