HAMMOND ELECTRIC ORGAN
E&MP 88.013
Music Recording - Electronic
June 5, 1937
Tone-wheel assembly of the Hammond electric organ.
These tone-wheels, operating on a shaft driven by a synchronous motor,
produce the tones of the organ.
The radio networks have just installed 12 of these instruments, so
that practically all organ music heard over the air comes from this
source.
