This new RCA general purpose cathode-ray oscilloscope (Model WO-79A) providing a 3-inch screen is the first portable unit of its size which meets laboratory requirements for accuracy.

This unit permits the accurate display and measurement of frequency components up to six megacycles in transient and pulsed voltages of the order of one micro-second.

The voltage amplitude of a signal can easily be measured by the built-in calibrated voltmeter. The weight of the unit is 42 pounds.

It is finished in light blue-grey wrinkly, and its overall dimensions are 14 1/2" high, 8 1/4" wide, and 18 1/4" deep.
