Picturephone

about 1962

The comparatively small size of the PICTUREPHONE is made possible by the development of modern circuits using transistors and other miniature components.

A.D. Hall at his desk at the Murray Hill, N.J. Laboratories talks with and views L.H. Meacham.

Both engineers helped develop the visual telephone system.

My father is misidentified in this image. Rather than L. H., the correct initials should have been L. A. for Larned Ames Meacham.
