SPECTACULAR NIGHT DISPLAYE&MP122.016 Searchlights no date Four Westinghouse narrow beam searchlights installed in front of
the grandstand provided a spectacular night display during the National
Air Races at the Cleveland Airport. These four beams, the most penetrating
in the world, were turned on and off nightly by photo electric cell
equipment operated by a searchlight on a flying plane.
