Stratovision system for airborne television and frequency modulation
transmission, monitors the television signal received and retransmitted

30-yaer-old Westinghouse engineer directed the first public demonstration
of Stratovision tonight during which telecasts of the Republic Convention
were rebroadcast from the east coast network over an area estimated
at 525 miles diameter. The demonstration resulted from a three year
research and engineering joint-development program carried out by
the Westinghouse Electric Corporation and the Glenn L. Martin Company.
