NEW INSTRUMNENTS FOR A DIRECTOR
Mortimer Stewart, who directed the first drama by television, is shown with the apparatus he used to control and check the picture.
The knob at the left of his small control box brings any one of three television cameras into the circuit, and the right-hand knob permits the fading of one image into another.
As a check on his control, he watches the reproduction of the image in a television receiver, shown at the right.
